TOMORROW: National Mobilization to Support CWA Members at AT&T West and DirecTV West

Dear CWA Members, Retirees, and Supporters,

CWA members who work at AT&T West and DirecTV West have been bargaining for a new contract since early February. The bargaining committees have been working tirelessly, but so far the companies have been unwilling to agree to fair wages, reasonable health care, and an appropriate scope of work.

As we approach the expiration of the contract at 11:59 pm on Saturday, we need to show AT&T and DirecTV that every single CWA member supports our AT&T West and DirecTV West members as they fight for the respect they deserve.

Tomorrow, April 5, CWA members across the country will hold up signs at work, standing if they are able, to show their solidarity. These demonstrations will take place at 8 am/noon/and 4 pm in your local time zone.

Please plan to join this action, and post photos from your workplace on social media with the hashtags #ATTContractNow, #DTVContractNow and #CWAStrong.

You can make your own signs or download and print one at cwa.org/contractnow.

Thank you for your support.

In Unity,

Claude Cummings, Jr. CWA President

Frank Arce, CWA District 9 Vice President

Thomas Ham

Thomas Ham is a member of Inland Empire DSA, co-chair of the IE DSA Labor Working Group, and Executive Vice President of CWA Local 9588.
