The Union and Company met today in full committees. The company responded to several of the Unions questions around the Companies Business Attire proposal, Retiree Medical, Medical, and Consumer Sales Incentive Plan. The Union passed three counter proposals to Companies addressing title changes to the Palm Springs Operators to Dispatch Clerk, and combining of titles of SSPA to SSSR in Long Beach and combining Special Equipment Installers (SEI) and Equipment Specialist (ES) into the Senior Communications Specialist (SCS) title. The Union also passed revised Union proposals regarding: the Grievance Procedure Article 12, Vacations Article 22, Holidays Article 23, and Employee Training Article 33. After already meeting in sub-committee several times to go over all of the existing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA’s) and Letters of Agreement (LOA’) the Union today passed revisions formally today on nineteen of the
approximately one hundred thirty regional agreements. The bargaining committee this week has been joined by District Vice President Jim Weitkamp.
