Coachella Valley Members gathered this morning sending support to their Bargaining Committee and their fellow Brother/Chief Steward Jose Cano who has been a victim of unjust discipline.

The Rally started at 6:30am with members ranging from Indio & Palm Springs Yards, Central Offices throughout the Coachella Valley as well as our brothers and sisters from Rancho Cucamonga.

The Rally of about 80 ended with some encouraging words from President Carlos Castillon, “Don’t let what they are doing to Jose break you,” “this yard and local will continue to spear head this movement.” And so they walked in together like they have for the past 4 years…and left a parking lot silent with red shirts hanging from windshields, and will continue to do so till a fair contract has been negotiated.
